Easy to configure. The item arrived in Raid 1 (Mirrored) so it was only 1800GB available space. This is a backup device, so I needed Raid 0 (stripped) for full size. It was really easy to change Raid types, set up my shared folders and stsslyart the copies. 1.4 TB later and it's already beginning to fill to where it will live it's life. Firmware upgrade was a snap also. Everything worked flawlessly.

Package was shipped quickly and arrived without delays

Solid rails, quick attach, sweet.

I own a much older NAS, but it is very slow and did not support Apple Time Machine. In comparison, drive access to the Buffalo NAS is much quicker. I like the space limits by User & Group account and the Cloud access is a nice feature too.

Easy to install Easy to use No need for trays/caddies

Affordable. And works very well

super easy to install, worked right away (i bought 2 of them)

Fits into floppy drive slot (so it uses up a useless slot, since floppy drives are no longer used) Back connections = 2 sata data & 1 sata power; jumper for front light options SSDs work fine at full speeds (speed of course is based on your SATA controller on the mobo) Lever system to insert and remove works fine Can be hotswappable (if your BIOS/UEFI supports it)
