I brought this because my mother board sound card was dying and was unable to install an internal card due to my graphics card being mounted vertically in my case preventing access to the card slots. It usually takes me a very long time to actually buy something these days. I'll check reviews for hours and still not buy the item if there's negative critiques, even when most are positive. In this case this is coming from personal opinion all specs aside. This little box is pretty good... I'm surprised at it's performance straight out of the box. I usually believe you get what you pay for but this time just a little more than I expected. It took kinda long for shipping but nothing like (wish) and it may just be me I have expectations from newegg (awesome shipping). If you need a better sound solution than the current #@#$ you got than this is a great buy!!!
