Sound Quality Build Quality Portable

Creative came a long way with this device. Many will not realize the improvement in sound quality until they actually plug this device in and hear for themselves. I think the main feature to highlight is the fact that you can use across different platforms(PC,Consoles,My Android phone w/ usb adapter). This device will boost the sound quality and sound level for sure. I would recommend this purchase to all gamers and audiophiles.

Sound quality. Great sound processing. Control and convenience.

Comes with low profile bracket. Sound is great compared to onboard sound component.

I brought this because my mother board sound card was dying and was unable to install an internal card due to my graphics card being mounted vertically in my case preventing access to the card slots. This little device was easy to connect and use having noticeably better sound quality than the original mother board audio before it developed issues.

Great product. On board audio quit. Purchased this card and audio works fine now.

This Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus has very Clean Sound Quality and does not Dull out at High Volume Levels as the Creative Sound Blaster Z did. The Creative Sound Blaster Z was a very Poor Quality Sound Card and the Software was even more frustrating. This AE-5 Plus sounds better than the EVGA Nu Audio and even better at Higher Volume Levels. The EVGA would dull out the High Frequencies at 90% Volume levels. The EVGA was way overpriced for what it was and had no What You Hear Software, so no Music Audio was not possible to Record with no Stereo Mix options available. That to me was an EVGA Rip Off to not include What You Hear Stereo Mix.

That's make my Arctic Pro two times better !!!

I bought this card mainly to give me a digital output and it does that with a toslink connector. setup was very easy and even my cheesy computer speakers sound much better. I like the wired desktop remote that provides two headphone connections

- Windows 10 detects and automatically installs with zero hassle - Great sounding audio over my onboard Realtek sound (especially at 24-bit/192KHz) - Reasonable price

Best all in one sound solution

Recieved product in 2 days. Works great with the 5.1 surround sound. Love the effects list that Creative has with the card had to download new drivers which was no problem. Great card for gaming for the price. Excellent with music love it. No cons!!

It usually takes me a very long time to actually buy something these days. I'll check reviews for hours and still not buy the item if there's negative critiques, even when most are positive. In this case this is coming from personal opinion all specs aside. This little box is pretty good... I'm surprised at it's performance straight out of the box. I usually believe you get what you pay for but this time just a little more than I expected. It took kinda long for shipping but nothing like (wish) and it may just be me I have expectations from newegg (awesome shipping). If you need a better sound solution than the current #@#$ you got than this is a great buy!!!

Cheap, High quality, Better than my mobos audio interface
