Have always been a fan of Creative's sound card line up since the days of Win 98. This card is no exception... it was easy to set up, and even gives my Creative 7.1 surround headphones a run for their money, compared to it's own 7.1 USB sound device. I have them paired with a sound bar; easily switches between the two with little to no recognizable sound differences at lower volumes.

- High quality audio - Can record at 96000 Hz with 32-bit float!

I brought this because my mother board sound card was dying and was unable to install an internal card due to my graphics card being mounted vertically in my case preventing access to the card slots. This little device was easy to connect and use having noticeably better sound quality than the original mother board audio before it developed issues.

It sounds like I am in the movie theater and it's not RGB.

If you want the best sound card on the market then this is the one to buy. Sound blaster been around for a very long time and know what there doing. Easy to install, great software. My headphones have never sounded better! It supports dts for my home theater, which was a must have in a sound card for me. The evga nu or the nu pro does not support dts and is why i never gave it a chance. I upgraded from my old soundblaster z and i am very happy that a did.

Got this because it's compatible with Windows 98 Upon boot, Win 98 detected it, it installed a PCE-E to PCI bridge chip driver. I had to install the driver manually after, but that's just Windows 98 being bad.

- The part near the USB plug is rubber. Makes it easier to grip when plugging in/out. - Slim and lightweight

+ Under 100 USD (paid 99USD on the Black Friday Deal). + Supports DSD over PCM up to DSD128. + Sound quality is on par, if not better than the Dragonfly Red DAC at less than half the price. + Gaming related features are pretty great with realtime virtual surround sound effect. + Hardware Dolby decoding included

Amazing sounding 7.1 Card, full support for windows 8.1 Considering the card is so cheap It makes a huge upgrade over my onboard sound.

Good sound card, bought because of the ohm output !

Easy to install and use. Great sound quality, games or music. UI under W10 PRO 64 took some time to get used to. Using with just no name regular headphones, and still sounds great. Miles ahead of any on board sound. Outside of PC case location is plus.

Comes with low profile bracket. Sound is great compared to onboard sound component.
