Everything comes to mind!

Works just great and sounds great also.

The ASUS Xonar U5 work perfectly for the application I was using it for.

The description doesn't say yes or no to Linux, so it was a gamble. Purchased for a Lenovo T520 running Ubuntu whose right channel doesn't work, either internal or external speakers. Plugged it in, went to audio settings, hardware tab, selected it, and now have sound in both speakers.

Got this because it's compatible with Windows 98 Upon boot, Win 98 detected it, it installed a PCE-E to PCI bridge chip driver. I had to install the driver manually after, but that's just Windows 98 being bad.

- very small - flexible cable prevents breaking or bending of USB connector - great driver support under different OSes (out of the box) - linux mint ulyana, ubuntu 18.x 20.x - windows 7 - windows 10 - sound is comparable with on-board audio (not exactly super great)
