Had line noise that affected my Audio recording - Went with Trip Lite due to brand reputation and it is one of the best decisions I could have made - Not a single "peep" of noise - Product is easy to hook up and about half the size of my old Monster Surge Suppressor - Lone the improvement in Cable TV picture quality and RJ-45 filter as well - On top of that if I get hit by lighting they cover damages up to 25K - If you spend a little bit more you will get one of the best - Thanks New Egg
keeps my system safe during electrical disturbances.
Did everything they were supposed to.
The power off switch is on the opposite side of the power cord, where the human generally is. The cord is in the back of the strip, where the outlet and cables generally are. With other strips you must to turn them around to reach which means a long cable wrapping around it and it will move constantly. Those strips are generally thinner too... so they are wont to flip over. This strip has a proportionally wider base which stops flips, even though it is not prone . I cannot believe that other manufacturers haven't adopted this approach as it simply makes sense.
High quality surge protection that I use for my home theater, including my TV, Cable/DVR box, A/V Receiver and a computer. The box and manual also states that this product has a lifetime warranty and also has $20,000 "Ultimate Lifetime Insurance" coverage.
