-Flawless, instant transfer from wall power to battery -Over- and under-voltage protection is good for places where the lights sometimes dim for no reason -PFC compatibility is very important -Works as a noise filter for your clean power needs -PowerPanel tool ensures that your computer will properly shut down even if you're not there -Can run anything you want off of it (except heaters!) such as cell phones and lamps when the power goes out -Surprisingly small and good-looking I've had it for a year, now, and as a person that previously lost a gargantuan gaming rig (almost $4,000 USD) to brownouts and outages while living in an apartment, this thing is a must. It has enough juice to run some of the beefiest rigs for long enough to kindly shut them down, and during the two power outages I've had in the last year, I actually was completely unaware the power was gone at first. Well, I shut off the alarm, so that bit is my own fault. This unit will sit silently until needed, with only a soft white LED on the power button to tell you it's operational. In the event of a power outage it will beep at you and the screen will come on to let you know how much power is available, and how much time you have at the current level of use. The USB's on the front are extremely convenient for keeping a cell phone going when you really need it, and the unit will happily power a basic LED lamp for many hours. It is a cheap and efficient measure to take to ensure the long life of your computer or other equipment, and serves as an emergency backup for things you may not think of until it's too late. I test mine once monthly, and drain the battery a bit to see how fast it drops. No problems yet.

I was impressed with the good reputation this unit has. I have had poor experience with a competitor’s brand, and after seeing this unit in many professional offices, I decided to give it a try.

Excellent.

Have purchased several APC UPS products in the past and I was not disappointed with this model. Like the small foot prInt with the outlets located on top. Working great so far.

1. (ostensibly Pure) sine wave output when on battery. This is important for power supplies that use active PFC. If you try with square wave (cheapo), PSU won't turn on, and that includes moniters. Modulated sine wave (stepped) works, but will burn out psu after several minutes of runtime, as it is stressful on the solid state switching components. 2. Features work as advertised. LCD works great, package was shipped in good condition, program shuts down computer when power goes out, etc. Also has good voltage regulation. 3. Price At minimum, if you want a UPS for any modern PC equipment, you need to have stepped or modulated sine wave output. This works for a few minutes before the chips in your PSU overheat and burn out (you will also hear a buzz from the parts vibrating at various frequencies as your PSU tries to deal with it.) The price of these modulated sign wave UPS are generall 150 to 200 and above. Yet Cyberpower, if their marketing and UL certification is to be believed, has come up with pure sign waves at a lower price. Pretty good deal if I say so myself.

Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.

Operated exactly as advertised. This review unit arrived with excellent timing. The day after I installed it the power here went out for over an hour with several outages the following week! Not only did the BU 600 keep my cable modem, gigabit switch and a high end router running without missing a beat, I was even able to keep my phone charging. Estimated run time with the new battery and minimalist load was 3 hours+. Of course age reduces the battery capacity, but if you use this product in your server room, it will keep your web connections and routers running like nothing happened for at least 60+ minutes Management software is a free download. The unit was detected on my win7/64 laptop USB and windows drivers installed, and then I installed the APC software. No eyebrow raisers there. Wall mounting holes a nice touch. USB charge port @ 1.5amps shows engineers are listening to customers. I'm seeing this all over the business lately. I just bought a nice desk lamp that has a USB charge port on it.

Lots Of Outlets LCD Screen for basic input and info. USB Connection for Software Control Good duration

Does what it's supposed to.

Lots of outlets, a "master" power plug can shut power off to peripherals when the tower is off. Fit and finish seem very good.

Using this battery for the HDTV, Uverse box, and stereo equipment with very common brown-outs in our area. This gives me time to shut down the TV and stereo properly instead of crashing everything. Not even a hiccup during momentary power losses.

Works as described, costs less than other brands for the same output.

Works great. Put my computer to sleep to go out for the night, power went out, came back and had time to shut it off and then plugged my desk lamp into it to have some light for a time.

Software is nice, you can daisy chain it from the main server with usb/serial to all of the computers through lan to all shut down together. Also a nice testing feature on the browser page to test the unit and make sure it does work in a real world test situation.

Plenty of power in this unit. And the best price I could find on the internet. Has a full Gigabit throughput on Ethernet surge circuit....that is why I purchased this unit.

- Bought this for my son for his gaming rig and PS4 setup, works like a champ - Very quiet, I cannot hear that it is on. (Other reviewer that did must have had an issue as both of mine are dead silent) The only time these things make a noise is when there is a bad spike or power loss and then it's just a beep. - Automatically adjusts voltage to proper spec, and in this old house with old wiring it's a product saver - Strong reliable battery. Battery in my old one still going strong after over 6 years of several storms and low voltages being thrown at it. -Digital display is nice
