The WIFI is great, but I really bought this to add Bluetooth to my computer. It does this really well. The connection reaches all corners of my house in stereo. Fast shipping. You do have to have a vacant USB socket on the motherboard. This is not just a USB socket, it is pin socket.

Very reliable piece of hardware. They way my set up was I couldn't get a hardwired connection to my computer so I bought this one to solve the issue. I do a fair amount of gaming and a lot of web surfing, between watching YouTube and planning my next upgrade for my computer I haven't experienced any lag or or issues with my connection to the internet. Its also red, which matches my build so that also makes me happy.

My internet went down so I finally tried this thing to see if I could connect my Linux PC to my cell phone hot spot. Yes, I can. Plugged this thing in and within minutes of doing nearly nothing to get it working, I had internet, from my phone. The actual reason I bought this thing, is to share files between PC and phone via bluetooth... Haven't tried that yet, but the configurator to set it up on the PC appeared when I plugged this thing in. I don't expect problems, it looked very simple to set up..
