Bought the card because I use three monitors and needed an interface that could provide that and this does. Easy to install in the PCI express slot and software downloaded and installed with no issues on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit desk machine. Provides crisp resolution and quick response when scrolling or viewing video, although since I have no interest in gaming cannot comment on performance in that environment.
I bought this for my Dell Precision Workstation R5910 Rack mount. I've been maximizing the hardware via NewEgg as I couldn't afford to do it through Dell. I made sure I got the alternate riser card in the rack mount so this card would fit. The PCI card holder wouldn't latch onto the top of the video card because of a metal plate on top of the video card but the video card is snug and it will not move anywhere without. I was also able to connect the power cables that came with the rack mount to this video card after figuring out I could connect one 6 and a 2 together to form an 8 connector. Nothing special after that other than plugging in the card into its slot. It seems to work great with Windows 10 Pro and all of the 3D applications I use (with the correct video driver). Super high accuracy and great speed.
- I put this GPU in a new Lenovo Thinkstation P310. Performs amazingly while driving 4x LG ultrawide 34" 4096 x 1440 @ 60FPS!!! - The Lenovo Thinkstation P310 has a 250 watt PSU which supports most of the Quadro line from PNY! It also supports the Nvidia NVS 810!! - Single slot design - Comes with 8 x Mini Display port to full size Display for adapters
It's a beast especially for 3D rendering. For KeyShot it benchmarks higher than two of the previous-generation RTX 6000s combined.
Does what it claims to do. Was big improvement over the Matrox M9148 which was a 4 DP card that cost $400 in 2011. The Matrox was always the computer weak link even with the latest bios & drivers. Desktop graphics experience rating was 4.0 and with 4 2560x1600 monitors desktop performance was borderline. (Did better with 3, though) The W600 jumped the experience rating to 7.1 for both desktop and gaming, driving the very same 4 Dell 30" DP monitors PLUS I was able to add a 60" whiteboard. The whiteboard had required its own computer, but now the W600 carries it as well, freeing up a pretty good computer for a nice upgrade for one of my users. This Matrox to W600 upgrade was a gamble, but I'm really happy with the result. I'll reuse the Matrox in a 2-monitor desktop rig.
This card is a must for motherboards that don't have AGP or PCIe slots and dual digital monitors are needed. Supports the Wide Screen 1680x1050 and if coupled with another NVS280 card it produces a nice quad set up.
Runs Revit pretty good ... Upgraded from a K600 . The P600 is much better but not quite what I was hoping for in realistic mode
