I bought this for my Dell Precision Workstation R5910 Rack mount. I've been maximizing the hardware via NewEgg as I couldn't afford to do it through Dell. I made sure I got the alternate riser card in the rack mount so this card would fit. The PCI card holder wouldn't latch onto the top of the video card because of a metal plate on top of the video card but the video card is snug and it will not move anywhere without. I was also able to connect the power cables that came with the rack mount to this video card after figuring out I could connect one 6 and a 2 together to form an 8 connector. Nothing special after that other than plugging in the card into its slot. It seems to work great with Windows 10 Pro and all of the 3D applications I use (with the correct video driver). Super high accuracy and great speed.

Windows is awesome with drivers and that of everyone gets Window 10 on each computer. I built this for my brother, his company, family, and friends, and kids. When coming over to build with SolidWorks and 3D print as well as VR. On another is the Oculus Rift. This, yes sees the VR headset of brand name of PCs works. Not too, too sure yet. Oculus Rift has sensors in the VR gear. Everything else works. The motherboard does not have WIFI and Bluetooth. Hence work in progress because the VR controller requires Bluetooth. Works. The card installed without a hitch. The software worked fine. I have been using it with a high-end geophysical program and it has worked just fine. I do not use it for gaming. I use it for technical high-end 3D visualization and mapping.

2008 Server has only VGA onboared video. However, had no problem setting this PNY video card up. Recognized my Veiwsonic VG2230wm 1680 x 1050 automatically which hasn't always been with other Windows OS, especially with the 64-bit OSs. This Dell T105 server MB doen't support X16 only one X1, one PCI and two X8 expansion slots. And X8 cards are only for NIC RAID and SATA which run $700 - $3000!
