I just plugged it right now on my Hp Envy 17.3' 1260p Intel laptop thru a USB Type A port before I started up my computer and so easily configured Skype to use it - both video and microphones . I was IMPRESSED that it seems to have a much clearer and clean image quality than my integrated HP 2k laptop webcam ! I kind of was a bit happy and shocked how good the image looked thru Skype and Whatsapp !!! I also used the microphones in the webcam thru Skype and Whatsapp and they work too . Sound manager in Windows 11 shows the microphones are indeed stereo and 44 Khz quality. I recommend this as a must buy because the image quality is top notch for the price it is a must have ! Happy buying everyone !!! A+ I am happy with this purchase
