Large capacity, trusted name

240+MiB/s sequential write speed while connected to a USB3 dock. Came very well packaged.

It's better than the seagate barracuda. It's super quiet Writes things fast.

-Really good deal if it's discounted -It's a drive. It's 12TB. It's installed in my NAS and working as advertised

As I said in my previous review of this drive, it's extremely quiet and vibration-free. Quietest drive I've ever seen.

Solid product and shipped fast.

I installed two of these 10TB HDDs in my desktop system, and have no problems with them. Easy to install, easy to format, working great.

- Was easy to install, format and is quiet enough for me desktop, similar sound level to many WD HDD's I've used in the past decades. - A great value ($219-$249 price range) for 16TB of data storage (14.5TB after Windows 10 Formatting). - I only go with new not renewed hard drives.

Drive installed as expected and performance outstanding! I would order again.

Always make all possible choices going with WD Red NAS drives! I check my last purchased drives almost 5 years running in 24/7 mode. I will continue writing the review if still allowed for additions after I install.

•Arrived quickly from Newegg. •Arrived with lots of shock absorbing insulation. •Formatted capacity: 465.8 GB. •Drive is thinner than most mechanical 3.5 inch drives. •Runs cool and quiet. •Great mechanical drive for OS installations. ST500DM009-2DM14 Benchmark: •Transfer Rate Minimum : 2.7 MB/sec •Transfer Rate Maximum : 211.5 MB/sec •Transfer Rate Average : 100.7 MB/sec •Access Time : 22.3 ms •Burst Rate : 91.8 MB/sec

No Problem with these drives. Plug them in, initialize, format and you're off and running. Great 5 year warranty and high duty cycle are the draws here.

Top notch performance for a spinning disk drive Built a massive 60TB array in just a couple days through USB 3.0 (that's pretty good) These don't seem to be the green drives that can corrupt RAID arrays They do power down by my RAID enclosure's instructions, but power up quickly when commanded to do so One bad drive out of five, but replaced by Newegg with a good one one
