Good Buy
Pros: I had a 17" laptop before this and needed something much more compact and light. This does the trick. Small, good battery life (6+ hours with 40-50% MAX CPU and 30-40% brightness), and fast after initially booting up (5400 RPM HDD can take ~20-30 seconds). Love the USB 3.0 and HDMI outs
Cons: Hybrid drive doesn't seem to do much for boot time. Runs fast otherwise. Almost wish it had VGA and eSata ports. But that's more preference rather than fault.
Overall Review: Over all, I'm enjoying this little beauty, although I don't use the touch screen that often. Compact but good for some medium to heavy tasks. Not looking forward to opening it up if I decide to change the HDD to SSD tho.
Perfection besides USB ports being a bother
Pros: Sleek, elegant, lovely looking case with wonderful airflow. Large fans, plenty of space for expansion, loved the top USB 2.0 & 3.0 while they worked (see cons). Can even turn off one of the largest ambient lights in the back to reduce (not completely remove) the bright blue light it emits Overall, a very nice and elegant product
Cons: A part of the USB 3.0 port broke off on the first day (!!!!) but it still works. USB 2.0 port stopped working reliably in the first week. Still tries to, but flaky. All I used was an XBox 360 controller, with no weight put on port itself and, after a week, it was too loose to function. Neither a con enough to detract from the score. Fan controls are a bit flaky too, one list constantly turns on / off on its own. Honestly, at 100%, the fans are dead quiet, so there really is no need for the controls. Again, not enough to detract. Speaking of lights, the blue light can be a bit of a bother in the dark. Lastly, she's a bit big for a medium-sized case, mostly long but a bit taller than I'm used to as well, but has fit perfectly under each desk she's been under (about 5) so no real issue.
Overall Review: Overall, I love the persona it represents for my powerhouse PC. My motherboard has 8 usb ports on it, so USB issues were not a problem for me, but your needs may vary.
Good Buy
Pros: Fast, well designed, and works. Simple as that. My computer only has SATAII but when I see the screen (after a fresh install) 'Windows is configuring updates...(3 sec)...Done!' I can't help but smile. Upgraded from a 5200 RPM, which was after my 7200RPM drive died :(
Cons: ...I'm not holding onto the edges of my screen for dear life?
Overall Review: It's only been about two or three days, but I'm happy with it. Most of my stuff (including music) is on the cloud, so I don't need a lot of space.
Great Adapters
Pros: Used in conjunction with new networking equipment to upgrade our network to 1Gb/s. Very reliable, no problems, and made the repetitive task of replacing multiple computer's networking cards simple and painless.
Cons: None
Great router
Pros: Very good router, used it with other equipment to upgrading our company's network to 1Gb/s. Not a problem with it at all.
Cons: None
Hardy Stuff!
Pros: Great processor for the price I've built at least two computers with this (from the ground up) and have never had any issues with CPU speed, however, like always, there are some unexpected things that happen when you built it yourself
Cons: None
Overall Review: After having this thing for more than a year, I found our that my 500w power supply is way to low for my configuration (thought I had a power supply with more juice, but never mind about that). When I took some readings, found out that every time the cores went above 50% usage, the core was severely under-currented. Lucky for me, we're just about to get into the hard processing stuff with just enough time to order a new power supply. Moral of the story: always check to make sure you have a big enough power supply
