Pros: It's a big upgrade compared to what to I had before which was a Vega 56 so I'm very pleased with all this performance

Cons: I just wish it wasn't so wide as it almost the three slot design because of the case I was barely able to get it to work with in my Antec P101 case Because the last fan was hitting the drive Bay Cage but with some shims I was able to keep it from touching

Overall Review: Keep in mind people this ST8000VN0004 drive is newer drive then the ST8000VN022 the only real diff is number of disk platters 5 (VN0004) vs 6 (VN022)

Pros: I have few 4TB hard drive and all of mine are worked properly out of the box with very large 2500+ steam game library nothing unusual to report here and even plan up grade my Emby media server with seagate 3tb drive to the same 4tb really soon. As for the rotational speed is just fine 5900rpm I'm not sure why other are make a deal out of it as it is still pulling a 125+Mbps transfer rate sure it no speed demon like SSD unless you wish to spent 1.6k on 4tb SSD drive a reg mechanical drive dose get the job done.

Overall Review: Pleases DO NOT pay attn to some previous reviewer's comment about NAS device or Raid not working as they are just to lazy in call tech support. Keep in mind people that most common are cause are by the shipper miss handle the package which cause physical shock or trauma no matter how well it is package is done it is even common cause to most defects problem with in the first few weeks, and really tick me off when people post review out even getting a replacement first, I to have had drives. You should keep your old drive on stand for a lease few months or more or order 2nd drive for backup of that new one in same size.
