Does it come with a SATA cable?

This is not retail packaging so no cables or mounting screws came with mine. I installed it onto a drive sled in a file server so I had my own hardware already.

what does -NE means? (ST8000VN004-NE)

I think it stands for "NewEgg". I couldn't find anything on Seagate's website of a variant that had the -NE model number. I think that's just the seller adding that to the end of the model number

Would it work as an external drive for the PS5?

Only if you put it into an enclosure with power and there's an interface (USB?) recognized by the PS5.

Is anyone using this HDD with Synology DS220+?

I am using these with Synology 918+. Not sure if this helps.
