Pros: This monitor is a thing of beauty! It is, hands down, the most impressive monitor I have ever owned. This is used for a pure gaming rig: - Games look beautiful at 2560-1440 - No ghosting, 4ms is great for gaming - High static contrast, very easy to read text - No backlight bleed - No dead pixels - I love the controller for OSD - Stand and build quality are top notch

Cons: - Little on the pricey side, but worth it's weight in gold!

Overall Review: Opted to not get a 4K monitor for gaming and I'm glad I did. This is a must buy for any serious gamer who wants a larger format monitor. Ensure your video card can run the larger resolution and I feel enabling VSYNC is a must. Fabulous Case, but...

Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded USB 3.0
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded USB 3.0

Pros: (Giving this a 3.5)...Outdated case. I've owned the Twelve Hundred for roughly 7 years, and the case (or tank as I like to call it)is bullet proof! Since I was no longer in need of a full size tower, I opted for it's small brother Nine Hundred. The Nine hundred is still an extremely well made case, but it needs updates (see cons). - Solid build quality. Still the tank I've grown to love - Plenty of airflow, great for overclocking - Adjustable fan speeds, though you have to access internally - Easy machine to work/build with. Plenty of room for multiple monster video cards.

Cons: - Drive bays, solidly built, but still difficult to remove. Have to access both sides of the case. - Front grilles are a PITA and must be removed, 2 screws on inside of case, to get to airfilter and drive bays. The Twelve Hundered just popped out. - No SSD bays, still have to use the adapter. - Little room on the back side of the case for cable management. - Did not come with airfilters, had to use my Twelve's.

Overall Review: - Did not easily fit my CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Cooler. I was able to mount the radiator to the front intake fans without any cutting/welding/botching. Not a CON but just buyer beware. Overall, the case is outstanding and will last me many years, this thing is still bullet proof. I hope that Antec releases an updated version to modernize this case. Would I recommend for others? Simple answer, yes, but I would caution them on some of it's flaws. 3.5 out of 5. Simply Amazing

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 04G-P4-2982-KR 4GB SC GAMING, Silent Cooling Graphics Card
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 04G-P4-2982-KR 4GB SC GAMING, Silent Cooling Graphics Card

Pros: NVIDIA really stepped up their game with the GeForce 980's. These blow away the Radeon competition and nearly render the Titan Black useless. Purchased to run on new rig (see below) and a BenQ 32" WQHD (2K) monitor. - $400 less than Titan black. 980 GTX's 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 & •2048 CUDA Cores vs Titan Black's 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5 & 2880 CUDA Cores. Unless you are running multiple 4K monitors, I really see no need to upgrade to Titan Black or X. -Runs Far Cry 4 (2560x1440 resolution) on Ultra at 90-100 FPS. A single 980 destroys everything I thew at it. - Runs quiet and fairly cool. Have not have or seen a need to overclock yet.

Cons: - I should have bought two for SLI

Best i7 yet!!!

Intel Core i7-5930K - Core i7 5th Gen Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor - BX80648I75930K
Intel Core i7-5930K - Core i7 5th Gen Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor - BX80648I75930K

Pros: Upgrading from a i5-3570k OD'd to 4.6Ghz and I feel the new 5930K outperforms it with stock speeds. Have not yet overclocked, but I don't feel a need to do so...it's that fast! - $300 less than it's big brother 5960K - 3.5GHz vs the 5960's 3.0 GHz - 6 cores vs 8 cores. For a pure gaming aspect, 6 faster cores are more than enough. Most games do not utilize multiple cores efficiently, hence I felt the 5930K was a better buy - The new 5th Gen Intel chips are simply amazing, use less power and run much cooler

Cons: - None! * Does not come with a stock sink or fan. Not a con buy buyer beware. If you are buying this CPU than more than likely you are purchasing a very nice aftermarket cooler.

Overall Review: If you are building a new gaming rig, this is your go to CPU. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try and save a few extra $$$ going with a 3rd or 4th Gen Intel CPU (or even worse AMD). The extra money spent here is well worth it! Blown Away!

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Maybe bad choice of words for a liquid cooler, but this system is a piece of art. Used to cool my i-7 5930k (see specs below). This was my first ever build with a liquid cooling system and I am very impressed with the quality and ease of use with this system. - Excellent cooling, keeping my idle CPU temps under 20C. I'm using a quad fan setup with the radiator mounted on the front of my case (x2 intake and x2 exhaust fans on the radiator). I felt this provided better cooling than the top mounted design it was intended for - Very quiet system, used to loud noisy fans - Thermal past was already pre-applied, however, I removed it and used Artic Silver.

Cons: - Obviouly designed to fit Corsair cases, with is not a true con, but I wish it included more universal mounting tools such as 4" screws. - The hoses could be a few inches longer, barely reached with my front mounted setup. Again, this was designed for mounting on the top of the Corsair case. - Slight buzz/humming noise, this might be due to my hoses being twisted slightly to fit the front mount. Again, having longer hoses would have been ideal.

Overall Review: 4.5 out 5 five just for some very minor flaws, but when it comes to it's intended job (cooling) it's a 5 of 5! If you do not own a Corsair case, be prepared to do some thinking, engineering, and finagling. I was able to mount the intake on my Antec Nine Hundred case without any cutting, welding, or bonding. I would recommend a Corsair case if you are not savy and just want to plug and play with this system. Beautiful!

Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Large heavy duty case. Lots of fans for amazing cooling. Hides wires nicely. Not too many bling bling going to light up your entire room leds.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: Had to buy a larger case so I could fit my GeForce 260. This is the best case I have ever owned, and I don't think I will be buying another one for as long as I live or until this one gets dropped off a 3 story building (which It can probably survive) System Specs: Intel E8500 Wolfdale OC to 4.0 Ghz, GeForce 260, 4 Gig OCZ DDR3 Ram, Corsair 750 watt PSU, 3 WD Raptors.
