My little monster ....................... 7/10/2019 8:33:36 PM

Pros: price performance ratio / No power wire.
Ease of installation, fairly good stock cooler,
This puppy runs my new monitor very well.
UPDATE: Still running great 7/10/19

Cons: My LG 25" ultra wide runs great on this card so I can only say for this monitor it's great.

Overall Review: My roomy got a 1050 and i tried it ...... boom.... you'll want one once you try one.
I still have 1-2 video cards that ran great awhile back, nothing like these tho.

Money well spent! 3/15/2019 7:59:07 AM

Pros: I am not a professional. This was only my second computer related DIY hardware install.

- My PC: HP Pavilion (all factory internal), Core i7-7700, 16GB DDR4, Single PCIe input MB, PS 180w max output, Windows 10.

- Reason for Purchase: I'm a gamer and the Intel HD 630 integrated GPU on my PC is not a gaming GPU. The games mentioned in this review were running on low-medium settings @ 20-25 fps.

- Easy to install. Fit perfectly into my compact HP tower. No supplemental power hook ups. Gets all it's power straight from the PCIe connection. Disabled my integrated GPU, shut down, installed the 1050ti SC, powered up, downloaded current drivers and started gaming.

- My factory power supply is not rated to handle the extra 400w this GPU needs to max out. Not even close. So while this GPU is under-powered on my PC I'm still able to play the following games at max graphics @ a solid 60FPS:
Shadow of War, Fallout 4, Phantom Doctrine, Elite Dangerous, XCom 2, X Rebirth, MGSV The Phantom Pain, War Thunder, World of Tanks/Warplanes/Warships (the standard games, not the mobile versions found on Steam).

- Though I could not find the following info on this products listing, the EVGA 1050ti SC does support OpenGL and Vulkan API.

Cons: - I only installed this GPU a week ago and have yet to find any problems. I will update this section when/if I run into any issues.

Overall Review: - If you're looking for a small sized, low cost and even less hassle gaming GPU that can hold it's own I strongly recommend this EVGA 1050ti SC

Great value! 2/12/2019 7:20:21 PM

Pros: Got this to replace a video card that randomly quit in my wife's computer. She doesn't do anything crazy, just Sims 4, Civilization 5/6, and similar games, but this guy more than does the job. We could turn the graphics settings up higher than the old card. And it doesn't break the bank!

Worked right away with no hassles during installation.

Cons: It's a little big, it takes up two slots on the outside of the case.

So far so good! 8/19/2018 2:45:08 AM

Pros: I'm not a gamer but I do video editing. I got this card to replace my very old GeForce 9800 GTX +... I'm pleasantly surprised that it runs considerably cooler and has made a difference in the overall temp of my system by about 10°F. Runs cool under stress test with no dropped frames or artifacts. I have only owned for a day but if it keeps running well and doesn't die prematurely like some have complained about I may come back and give a full 5 stars which I reserve for absolutely stellar products... time will tell.

Cons: My only con is EVGA wants too much information just to download their software! I hope they have good customer service if there's is a problem?

Overall Review: It's still early to know for sure but I have no regrets buying this card and would recommend especially now that its $30 less than I bought it for! Price dropped literaly the day after I bought it! Seems that happens a lot with Newegg, really aggravating!

Solid little card 8/14/2018 6:24:11 PM

Pros: 4GB DDR5 is enough to load Ultra setting for LOD Distance in the game GW2, and thats the best thing ever for my long suffering Phenom II X3 720BE processor. Stable, even through various OC setups running or not running well on the rest of the system.

Cons: 1050's do not support SLI which I leanred after the fact, on the other hand they don't need a PCIe power connector either.

Overall Review: This card also seems to stay pretty clean somehow. My case picks up quite a bit of dust from the wood floor and eventually it gets through the screen, but it doesn't seem to accumulate on the cooler fan or intake area of this card. Also it's really light in case you have a wonky PCIe x 16 slot, which my older board featured.

Great for casual gaming 7/31/2018 11:30:34 PM

Pros: I built a PC for a combination of software development and casual gaming. Overwatch at 1080p is as intense as my gaming gets and this card does the job perfectly well. Also works flawlessly for Quake Champions, CS GO, and of course older titles.

The EVGA XOC software for controlling the fan is nice as I want my PC as quiet as possible, but also don't want the GPU getting too hot during gaming.

I'm driving dual displays with HDMI and DVI and it works just fine. It ticks the boxes I needed it to tick.

Cons: I expected the card to be quieter with its advertised ACX technology for quiet cooling. Shopping for quietness online is hard. Even in stores how could you? Perhaps the two-fan version of this card is quieter? I have a very open case (Fractal Design Meshify C) so when the fan ramps up during summer gaming sessions, it's rather loud.

Overall Review: If I had to do it over I might get a 1060 or 1070 not because I need the performance, but because they'd probably run quieter since they'd have a proportionally smaller load. Running Overwatch at 1080p and Ultra settings might be running this GPU at say 80% of its limit, so it gets hot. But for a 1070 that's maybe only 50% of it's capacity so I'd imagine it to run cooler and quieter.

For what this card costs and does, I can't say I'm disappointed at all. Plus with a good pair of gaming headphones you're not even hearing it.
