650W 80+ Bronze PSU good enough for a 5070?

I currently am running a RX 7600 and a 1440p monitor, and am looking to get a 5070. I am running a R5 7600x for those curious. What I am wondering is if my MSI A650BE psu that is 80+ Bronze rated, is fine for a 5070. I was planning to get the MSI Shadow 3x 5070 for anyone wondering.

Yes. It’s within MSI’s recommended 650W specification and is compatible, as long as the correct 16-pin connection is used (either native or via the included adapter).

Should be fine 7600X is a 65W CPU But I always go over the recommended just to be safe and for future pooping I use the MSI MAG A850GL for my 9700X & 5070 but about to upgrade to 5070 Ti
If you do want to upgrade I l would go with this one

I know a dude with 2 tb storage, 32gb of ddr5 , 5070 ti, and a r7 9800x3d. I think it’ll be pretty good. However, you might be in a little bit of a bottleneck. The R5 7600x isn’t the best cpu for the 5070, but for 1440p I’d recommend switching to a 9600x or a Ryzen 7 cpu.

You would be surprised! Less then 4.0% bottleneck at 1920X1080 and none at 2K & 4K 60+FPS on most AAA games at Medium settings I played at 3440X1440 on 40" 155MHZ monitor with no problems But the 7700X3D is out and on sale on Newegg for $279.99 after promo code then trade in your 7600X for $120 and get a brand new 7700X3D for 159.99!

As everyone else said, this is a fine choice. I’d look for at least 750W as my recommendation. But a 650 is fine, the card recommends a 600W at minimum so you’re gold.

Recommenced Is 650W for all MSI 5070’s even the 2 fan version 750W for the 5070 Ti’s via their website But manufacturers always aim high incase you have 350W Threadripper PRO or a 300W i9 CPU something atypical then most home users
I’m swapping my GeForce RTX 5070 12G GAMING TRIO OC WHITE for GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X PZ OC But it’s power consumption that’s the problem 250W for the 5070 300W for the 5070 Ti That’s what I always look at then add CPU wattage then add roughly 100w for MB, RAM, ,SSD & fans or use a online PSU calculator

My bad then, this website said 600W for the OC version. So I assumed it would be the same
