I’m a console gamer and laptop gamer with hopes of buying a prebuilt hardest on that until I can learn how to upgrade my pc. I regularly play dayz and other indie games not really into higher performance games but would still like to try them out. What is a good recommendation ? For under 800$

not sure what u mean when u say “hardest” but
I’d recommend looking for a prebuilt with the spec of like rtx 4060 or rx 9069xt.
that’s going to give u like the most entry lvl gaming computer performance to start out. u don’t really want to go older than that too much. i guess u could look into the RX 7700 as well.

These are the system requirements for DayZ.
I’d get something that’s stronger than this. So like a 3060ti would be great too to try to save costs for budgeting on the GPU side. Other indie games you play weren’t listed, but shouldn’t take more power than DayZ

I found two PCs for the budget you’re looking for, both with DDR5. Since DayZ is more CPU-intensive, look for a better CPU rather than a better GPU. The second option is better, but it’s pre-owned. It has a better CPU, but it’s small. If you don’t mind that, this is better for DayZ: “Budget Intel i5-14600kf and Zotac Gaming 3060ti | Jawa”.
