Wanted to know if this is a solid build for my first pc. kinda learning as i go , sorry, i also plan to mainly use this for gaming, studying, watching. Mainly gaming, i like rivals, risk of rain, no mans sky, possibly starfield, gears of war, control, tomb raiders, warhammer, was thinking about trying WOW
The components are good but what’s the price of that set up? I only ask because I didn’t know the price difference in buildimg an AM5 setup due to the fact that AM4 is almost at the end of it’s run. if someone was already on AM4 architecture I’d say get the 5800x3d as the final upgrade but, because you’re starting fresh you might want to at least consider getting on the current platform.
im at 1kish right now, from what ive seen, am5 rises the price insanely
you correct, to build a decent AM five system you’re looking around $1600
would you say this build is good for at least 5 years with the type of games im looking to play? then i can make a switch to am5
While it’s hard to say because Games seem to be getting more demanding year by year. That being said for the games you listed, I think it’ll serve you well for quite a while. I wouldn’t buy it expecting five years of high-end performance, though. More realistically I’d expect 3ish years before you’d start turning settings down in newer AAA games. If your budget is locked around $1,000, it’s a solid build. If you can stretch the budget at all, I’d seriously consider AM5 since you’re building from scratch.
honestly got the motherboard for free so i’m trying to build around it, wouldn’t mind this as a learning build, learn what is needed and upgrade further down the line as long as this wouldnt seriously hinder the expereince for the next couple years
I have a option AM5 9600X 9060XT16GB Build $1150 Cart price add to Cart for full savings
