it depends on what we’re gonna try to play. So what games are you looking at that. The CPU is quite old but, the real weak link is the GPU. It’s only a 8GB graphics card. It will struggle with many modern games. on top of that it’s on an old architecture ( AM4 platform) that really only being kept alive because right now things are expensive in the gaming PC industry. Not saying it’s a bad computer but in the near future it probably won’t be very upgradable.

realistically what is your budget?

I don’t know your financial situation but I’d hate for you to pay good money for a PC that’s might be OK right now but not very usable or even upgradable in the near future. You really should be probably looking at something like these not necessarily these but this will give you some specifications to go off of. They are budget PCs but are on the newer platform (AM5) which will make them highly upgradable in the future if you need to.The second one is particularly good for the money to give you 32 gigs of RAM and a 16 GB graphics card for the same price.

I want to stay in 1000 range but if ive got to spend 300 hundred more i would, games would be minecraft, roblox, skyrim, warhammer, gears of war, ready or not, fortnite, and some others.

Just something to keep in mind—the $900 range PCs will definitely run the games you listed, but a lot of them are already using older platforms and GPUs with only 8GB of v-RAM. That means they’ll work fine now, but you might start running into limitations sooner than you’d expect, especially with newer games or updates. If you’re already open to going up another $300, I honestly think that’s the PCs I showed you are sweet spot right now. You can get onto a newer platform (like AM5) with a stronger GPU, and that’ll last you years instead of feeling outdated in a short time.So it’s not that the cheaper one is bad—it’s more that spending just a little more now can save you from needing to upgrade or replace it much sooner. maybe you could save for a couple months and get the extra $300 to $400 In the meantime you might find a deal.

Either way, you’re in a good spot budget-wise—just depends if you want something that’s “good for now” or something that’ll hold up long-term
