CPU Cache Coming in clutch for gaming. how can there be such a big difference?

Why doesn’t Intel just straight up increase the Cache as well? I’d be so focused on the CPU Cache

My uneducated guess: Our president wants intel CEO to step down, their company is probably being sequestered in some form?
