well, if you hit it right when they do sales, you can get a 5070 for $40 more and then you have current generation tech. like right now newegg Has a 5070TI on sale for $799

I think your build looks ok, not terribly wrong w/ it. Some people will comment about the GPU/CPU the most about the best deals. You should be able to play the most modern games on the build. What games do you already enjoy playing? Here’s some vague general recommendations

Marvel Rivals
Stray
Stellar Blade
FF16
Cyberpunk 2077
Baldur’s Gate 3
Grounded 2

I agree with @Viraco, get a 5070 ti, the 5070 ti is better and you get newest technology.

Consider a different CPU because x3d chips are nice for gaming if you don’t need that many cores.

Not sure how much thread usage game development program use, but for games there is a better cpu. Otherwise it’s a solid build.
Depends on games u might find better radeon gpu if we talk performance/price ratio. But if u need raytracing and dlaa better go with nvidia.

You can get 9800X3D for the price of the 7950X or the 9950X for about $500
Currently Newegg is offering a free 360 MSI AIO with 9800X3D & some other CPUs
