model has back up software?

I believe it comes with basic backup software.

Can I use this external hard drive for daily backups?

Yes, the WD 4TB Elements USB 3.0 2.5" Portable External Hard Drive is suitable for daily backups as it is praised for its good backup capabilities.

Well, no one answered the previous 2 with this question, so I'll ask again. What is the rpm of this drive? 5400 or 7200? Strange that that isn't included in the specs.

According to CNET's review it is 5400 RPM.
