Application: OBD power cable for dash camera, designed for the OBD port and dashcams. It features two modes, toggled
with one click: operates on/off with the engine and enables 24-hour recording.
Note: This dashboard cam power cord (OBD2) does not support new energy vehicles. It is compatible only with dashcams using A5-B5 pins and is not suitable for some dashcams that use A8-B8 signal pins. Two working modes are selected by a switch on the OBD port.
Mode "-": Parking monitoring mode. This surveillance mode supplies 24-hour power with low voltage protection that shuts down the device to prevent battery drain.
Mode "O": ACC mode. In this mode, your dash camera will turn on/off when you turn the ignition on/off.
Low voltage protection: The OBD2 dash cam power cable contains a built-in MCU intelligent control chip that can monitor the vehicle battery power in real time. When the voltage drops to the low-voltage protection threshold ( 11.6V ) of the OBD cable, the line automatically enters low-voltage protection and shuts off the output. Mini USB plug with a 90° angled "L" design: Ideal for space-saving and connection in confined spaces. It allows for neater cable management in some situations.
