Will this internal HD be compatible with my 13" Macbook pro?

This drive is 7mm and the 13" MacBook Pro perfect fit is 9.5 mm.

guys i bought hp 15 notebook a week ago. it has this hard drive. and after 5 days of usage, it makes some (very little) clicking sound when it reads or write data. is this normal or a bad sign? i'm a bit concerned.

That is hard to say, HDD have moving parts and make sounds. Much like a old shade tree mechanic could listen to a card and tell if the sounds are normal or not a good Tech can do the same with HDD's. However excessive clicking can be a concern. I use HDDscan, a free utility to check a drives status. This should help determine if the clicking is normal or excessive.

Will this work on a HP 2000-2B80DX? Need a new HD for my Mom's Laptop (Sorry about this being posted as answer below. Mistake.)

I went to the HP website to check on the laptop. The hard drive bay is easily accessible from the bottom of the laptop. The only issue you might have is that the old hard disk is probably 9mm thick where the HGST Travelstar is 7mm. So depending on how HP engineered the hard drive bay, you may need to add a non-conductive spacer (cardboard or plastic) of the same footprint as the hard disk to prevent it from moving once it is installed.

Other than that, the HGST Travelstar is 100% compatible with the HP laptop. It's very quiet by the way.
