Question 1

What is the precise power requirement for this card, and what if I want to run two or more?  I need to know wattage and connector requirements and these are not published on the product page.

*750 Watt Power Supply is required for single card (1000watts for dual and possibly more needed depending on what cpu, ram, etc you are runnning). I have a 1250 watt seasonic ps with an evga dark mobo/4930k cpu/32gb ram/2 x R9 290x/sound card/raid 1 hdd/multiple ssds and haven't had any issues whatsoever.
* PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard.
* 1X75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required.
* 1X150 Watt 8-pin PCI Express power connector is required.

Question 2

Is this compatible with the 2011 v-3 series motherboards?

I can not specifically answer the question. However, when I look up the 2011-3 motherboards by ASUS the price is in the hundreds of dollars. This card runs fine on my $60 dollar ASUS motherboard.  ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

My best guess is that if a couple of year old cheap MOBO can run the card, an expensive MOBO can.

What are the clock speeds for this card?

At 95 degrees (normal max temp for this card) it will throttle down to lower speeds. Increasing fan speed at the expense of noise allows the card to remain at peak longer.

Can I crossfire this one with an Asus R9 290x Direct II ?!?!

yes, uninstall all graphics card drivers.  install both cards and install latest drivers from amd.  This is the exact setup that I have.  Crossfire works great

Question 5

Will the system shut down when I use 2 or 3 way crossfire because of overheating or driver issues? Anyone has had those problems?

The system normally shuts down if the power supply cannot supply enough current. The most important part of your system should be the power supply. If you want to run 2 card I recommend a power supply with a good 60A on the 12V rail. (The best and most pricy tend to be single rail cards). Also, always make sure you case has negative pressure (i.e. more fans blowing in then out)
