Yes it will. It won't let me post the link but there is the Sapphire website and it has that info as well. I can give my word, what it's worth, that it definitely supports and uses directx 11 very well.

Hi im building a gaming pc that can play at 1080p with no problem and i need help on which gpu to get that will work with a 630w psu. Should i get this gpu or a powercolor radeon r9 270x devil edition ? This product is cheaper than the devil but is 4GB compared to the devils 2GB. What should I do ?

Hey I Got this for my budget pc (pcpartpicker(dot)com/user/Blacksf/saved/Lyhj4D) I currently only have a 520 W power supply and it works great! I am not familiar with the devil edition but seeing that I have played two games that recommend more than 2Gb I would  go with this one over the other one.. Honestly at the price point its hard to beat. It plays almost all games at 60fps on ultra.

Download the user manual for your specific motherboard and compare PCI specs listed there vs. the specifications presented for the video card.

In my own experience, I've never had a compatibility issue with a Video Card and Motherboard - especially if the technologies are within 2-3 years apart, but YMMV.

How hot does this card tend to run out of the box?  Also how hot does it run when in an intensive game?  Does it get to be pretty loud?

Heat management is always a consideration - with any set up and any higher end machine, but this card does not run that loud. Extra fans and a higher end box should work. Maybe, depending on your set up. If you are not overclocking or doing anything extravagant, it should be fine.

I have used in when playing Borderlands 2 with all render settings on ultra high and I really do not hear the card over the shooting.

That is just my experience, though. I also have no idea which game you are playing.

Will this graphics card be compatible with my pc? I know that I would definitely need to upgrade my power supply, but would it be compatible with everything else?

My pc is a cyberpowerpc gamer ultra 2165. (the website wouldn't let me post a link but you should be able to find it if you type it into the search bar) . Here are some of the specs.

Its a Great Card, I have it in my pc a Fx-8320 8 core and 12 gb ram and 3 TB hard drive space.

But your right about the power supply, not sure what the min needed is but I have a CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX850 (CMPSU-850AX) 850W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply, its a little outdated now but still working strong. I bought my current pc build back in 2011, the only thing I added to it was the Sapphire card. I original had 2 HD 6950s but this thing is faster then both of them together and a heck of a lot cooler, and I do a lot of 3d light rendering in Unreal Engine Editor in my Game Design classes.

The rest of your pc should be fine for running it. Just get a new Power supply and you should be fine.

This one looks good and there is a rebate on it currently.(till 2/12)

Can I use a DVI to VGA adapter on this card?

You most certainly can. Even though my monitor supports HDMI, I use the VGA cause of the weird HD settings on my monitor. So I still get 1920x1080 just through the VGA adaptor. Hopen that helps!

Are the outputs for DVI of the DVI-D, DVI-A, or DVI-I? I ask because the monitor I ordered for this is DVI-D.

I would recommend looking a the Wikipedia page relating to the Digital Visual Interface, under the connectors subheading.

If you look at the images Newegg has uploaded, you will see that there is a DVI-D (Dual Link) and a DVI-I (Dual Link) connector.

Both outputs can be used with DVI-D monitors with no extra adapters.

Ok so I am looking at getting an R9 270X and this is 4GB for way less than 2GB cards.  Why is this card so cheap?  Is this a great deal going on or is this slower than the 2GB cards? I will buy if i know its the real deal.

I grabbed one of these cards last week.  Despite the lack of Specifications on the page & it's price, It's the real deal.

I upgraded from a Sapphire Radeon 6850 that was choking my old system in BF4.  I was getting 40-44 fps on medium settings & now with this new R9 270x I'm getting 50-75 fps with the game set on Ultra, running Mantle.

My PC is getting old (7 years maybe)  It's like a B-52 bomber of pc's & I have been constantly upgrading it.

Just Curious, how do I get the three free games that are supposed to come with it?

You will receive an email with that information. You visit the AMD site and look through the games on offer. Then you fill out a form selecting the games you want and giving the serial number of your video card. AMD will give you download links for the games.
