Pros: Works well, quieter than the previous hard drive (which is the same model). Received quickly.
Overall Review: Nice drive for the price.
Pros:
Nice big size (for me). Price very good.
Warranty response from the OEM was very quick :)
Cons: None; read below as I believed I caused the problem and the fix.
Overall Review: When I recieved the drive I popped it in my win 7 box. Even though the BIOS saw the drive, running the OS, explorer did not. I tired it in another (xp) box; same deal. First, I thought the drive was defective, then got to thinking it may not be partition correctly. Therefore, I pulled my first box with win 7 OS drive and left this new one in the box and performed an "install" enough to partition it. That worked, so this may be helpful information for other facing the same issue. I think it was my bad, therefore, giving 5 stars to the product. I've only had the drive one day, so all of this is assuming later on it's working well. (no time to go back to change my review-busy person). If it's good I plan to purchase more.
Pros: Excellent Product with Quick Shipment
Cons: None
Pros: Product was shipped fast
Cons: Return took 2+ months. They ignored my emails. I had to call and check on progress on weekly basis. Very unprofessional and dishonest people.
Pros:
Works well, easy install
UPD: I bought this in 2010, when I built my first computer. This hard drive has lasted me through 5 different moves as a college student, 3 separate computer builds, and is still running strong in 2018. I bought an SSD about two years ago and apparently never moved my operating system from it.
Cons: For what it's worth, when windows 7 rated my computer for performance, this was the lowest value at 5.2 because of the transfer rate (original review, 2010)
Overall Review: I haven't ever seen a hard drive last this long. 10/10
Pros: 7200RPM and 500GB was newish back in 2010, and here I am in 2018 writing this review while the HDD continues to work.
Cons: none
Pros: Same HDD as came with my Dell but 500GB instead of 320GB. Almost Manufactured the same time too. Old new stock is great and I love the note GoHardDrive included with my HDD. It was very customer service friendly and makes me feel they stand behind their products. Especially with their own 2 year warranty.
Cons: None, will update as necessary.
Overall Review: I would recommend buying old new stock from GoHarddrive.

Cons: Failed in no time
Overall Review: The Western Digital I put into the PC when I built it lasted 12 YEARS.
