Yes, it has the Type A cable (other end is USB Micro B Suber Speed that plugs into the External Drive). It cannot be piggybacked as the drive has the USB A jack and the power jack only.

What’s the rotational speed of the drive in the enclosure?

I believe it is 7200. The drive is very fast.

Can this be used with USB 2.0?

You could but you would have 10x less transfer speed, usb 2.0 is 480 Mbps where 3.0 can transfer around 4800 Mbps.

Can hard drive be shared by multiple computers over a LAN?

What you seek is an NAS, or Network Accessed Storage. No, this is simply a USB hard drive to plug into a single computer. Once plugged into the computer, you can set up the computer to share the drive with everyone on your network. But the drive on its own does not have that.
