Do these drives come with the Seagate 5 year warranty?

Seagate drives only come with a 5-year warranty if purchased from Seagate. If you register a drive purchased from a middle man and try to register it, you will get 2 months on the warranty. When talking to Seagate, this is the response you will get: Thank you for patiently waiting, upon checking the 6 drives serial number provided unfortunately it shows that the mentioned drives are not meant for end users, and the warranty cannot be updated, and also the mentioned drives are not entitled for Seagate warranty services. does this work fine as a regular gaming\desktop hard drive?

I have been using it for an NAS video surveillance RAID array. I am very happy with it. and would use it as a desktop hard drive. I have never considered its use as a gaming drive.
