Are these okay to use for your standard computer if you want high storage drives? Are there any compatibility issues with a non-server setup?

I run an engineering firm and I build all our computers that we use for CAD. I only buy enterprise/NAS drives for the desktops as Cad is heavy on drive caching all the time and is hard on drives that way and we have had great success using these and similar ones for years for years. we have not found the optimization for NAS's to be an issue. we do mirror (raid 1) all of our drives. This is all based on an application methodology, someone else might jump in on the specifics of the inner workings on these drives and other Enterprise/NAS drives.

Does the ST6000NE0021 have 512e or 4Kn sector size? How is this different than ST6000NE0023. Seagate lists the same specs for both, so what's different between the two model numbers?

I believe it uses the 4k sector size from I didn't check. It seems to be just an updated model but no change from what I can tell. I have both and they perform the same.
