Would this work as a replacement for a Seagate Barrracuda 7200.10 ATA(SATA) 80 GB in a Dell desktop pc?  Thanks.

As far as I know, yes, it will. Both hard drives are SATA hard drives so the mother board plug ins will match and the dimensions of the hard drives are the same, regardless of capacity, so I don't think there will be any problems.

good drive depending on what you are using it for.  i use it as a mirrored back up to my SSD.  it loads and acts SLOW; by no means use this as your main drive.  splurge and get a hybrid drive, i have a 1 tb hybrid drive for my programs and use my old 1tb as a backup now.  the difference between the hybrid and standard are absolutely amazing!  the hybrid is so much faster. hope this helps. :-)

Is this good for putting games on... In my gaming rig i have two salvaged 80gb hdds that i use for gaming... Is this good for gaming?

I'm just using it as a replacement for my OS drive since I was running out of space.  My motherboard is a bit old so I'm not taking advantage of the speed it can offer.

It should work.

If you are replacing a drive with Windows on it and that drive still works, "disk cloning software" (Google it) will make everything work as it did before.   You'll need a SATA cable for the new drive and may need to enable a 2nd drive in the BIOS for cloning.   Unplug the old drive when cloning completes and plug the new drive into the cable the old drive was on.  Always have power off when changing cables. 
Shut down Windows (not hibernate or sleep) before doing anything.

Will this work if I only have a SATA 3.0Gb/s connection on my motherboard?

This drive will work perfectly as a SATA 3GB/s drive - and may even be faster than a true 3GB/s drive.  They are designed to be backward compatible with SATA II and SATA I.  I am using mine on a SATA 3GB/s motherboard, but may get a new, faster motherboard in the future or get an I/O card to fully use the faster hard drive.

it's not a laptop hard drive, so no.  it's slow too. i only use it as a back up for my SSD.  do yourself a favor, go SSD; or better yet hybrid drive.

I am only using this WD 250GB drive as a spare storage drive, but have had no issues with it so far.

You will need a SATA power supply cable and a SATA data cable, PROVIDING the motherboard you are connecting to supports SATA and has available power and data ports.

Will the WD2500AAKX SATA be a compatible replacement for the WD2500AAJB IDE Ultra ATA 100/ATA-6 in my Dell Dimension 8200 that is showing signs of failing after 5 years and is out of stock?

No, the interfaces are different since this is SATA and your drive is IDE. This will not be compatible.
