5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

This review is from: Intel 525 Series Lincoln Crest SSDMCEAC240B301 mSATA 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Got it when newegg has category coupon on all SSDs. Excellent mSATA! Put it in Toshiba Z935 without any issue. This drive is not just perform well out of box, it still runs pretty fast when it became dirty. Intel SSD Toolbox software works very well too!!! 5 years warranty baby!

Cons: None!

This review is from: Intel 525 Series Lincoln Crest SSDMCEAC240B301 mSATA 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Extremely fast, faster than intel 520. 1.2 mill life.
Will buy Sata III raid card when available and add one more.

Cons: Had to buy a mstata to sata adapter 2.5 adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm.....

This review is from: Intel 525 Series Lincoln Crest SSDMCEAC240B301 mSATA 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Great upgrade! Fast.

Loaded this into the MSATA/ WWAN radio slot of my Dell M4700, never entered the bios, but Win7 recognized right away.
I downloaded the Intel Migration software and within 15 minutes I had all data copied to the SSD.
Did the switch up in the bios and everything is loading a lot faster now!

This was a piece of cake to install and one of the easiest upgrades I've done.
The nice part is that with this MSATA, I get to keep my 7200RPM drive as data storage. Fast startup plus lots of storage.

Newegg shipped this so fast. Ordered it Thursday at lunch and received it the next day before lunch.

Cons: Price, but this included the Intel Migration software which made everything a breeze. No re-loading Windows!
Needed to scavenge a mounting screw. It would be nice if it came with a screw, but this drive is OEM.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to order my Dell M4700 with a MSATA installed, but Dell would not allow the order with only the MSATA. They were forcing me to order the MSATA + a standard hard drive, raising the cost $600.
This drive fit the bill for less than half the price.
