Network Video Recorders Offer Internet Surveillance

There are two types of Network Video Recorders; Wi-Fi® NVRs with no camera ports connect to wireless surveillance, and PoE NVRs which use Ethernet ports to connect PoE cameras. NVRs connect to their cameras wirelessly or with a CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet cord with RJ45 plugs. Video processing takes place in the camera then broadcasts a digital video signal from an IP address. That allows you to view your webcam feed from anywhere in the world. You can back up camera footage to several servers in various places, enabling you to facilitate multi-location and multi-room monitoring of cameras. Installing NVR cameras gets you better picture quality for making out details, such as facial features or license plates. Digital Video Recorder Provides Hardwired Security

A Digital Video Recorder uses analog cameras connected by a coax cable to a central hub to record data.
