this would be a drastric upgrade to cpu performance since the g series were usually unable to use core multithreading, so this woul dbe a drastic improvement and a cpu compatible with it would be less than 200 for viable performance

Yes buy AM4! AM5 DDR5 memory is overpriced! The 5500 is a great stepping stone to leap over AM5 once AM6 releases. Dont buy AM5 right now! Not worth it!
