This is listed as 3200Mhz but for some reason my ASUS AMD AM4 PRO WS X570-ACE ATX Workstation shows the RAM running at 2133Mhz speed. Why is that?

I'm not sure about your particular mobo. I have the Gigabyte Aorus Master, and on my board, the RAM wouldn't run at 3200Mhz until I enabled the XMP profile for the module. If you've already enabled XMP and your still running at 2133 you may have to tweak your RAM settings manually in the BIOS.

Will this work with Ryzen 3900X and ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi)?

That is exactly what I am using. to get 3200 out of it you will need to turn on DOCP make sure to use ram slots 2 and 4 when i tried it in 1 and 3 it would not post.

Can these sticks be reliably overclocked to 3733  ??

I am running these at 3800mhz with a CAS latency setting of 19 at stock voltage. However to do so i had to remove the stock heat spreaders and install a water block and liquid cooling kit and pipe it into my custom cooling loop.
I HIGHLY doubt you could get to those speeds with stock cooling.

How likely is this kit to work on an AM4 X570 motherboard?  It's not on the QVLs, nor are ANY high capacity kits.

I use CMW128GX4M4E3200C16 with ASRock AM4/X570M Pro4/DDR4/M.2/HDMI/DP/RJ45 Motherboard and they work great together.

Since that’s also Corsair Vengeance I’d say it’s well worth a try.

If the specs on the motherboard state that it will take 32 GB PC4

NO! These SDRAM will NOT run in ANY laptop. Period. You are looking for the wrong type of memory. You need SODIMM's. The ones you are discussing Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB are 288 pin and are solely meant for desktop motherboards!
The person who currently has the "Best Answer" at the time of this posting was well intended and he is correct on the AMOUNT and SPEED and TYPE of memory you need for you laptop but he does not discuss nor does he point out the PHYSICAL FORMAT (SODIMM) that you need for your computer.
Again, do NOT buy these for ANY laptop. They simply will not physically fit into the slots!

is this to much ram for my pc i want better ram but not sure if im going overboard need some advice and dont know what im doing if any one is willing to work with me?

It depends on what you want to do with your computer. The maximum I have seen Hardware Unboxed use is 32 gigabytes (GB). You can use Resource Monitor on Windows to see how much memory you are using.

I have 64 GB because I run long release runs of the LLVM compiler on Linux at 31 processors that will use more than 32 GB. Two 32 GB cards in a four slot motherboard gives me room to add two more cards if I need them.

If you are running games on Windows I would think 16 GB would be a minimum and 32 GB plenty. Using four slots of 8 GB should be a little faster than two slots of 16 GB. But if you have four slots, then two 16 GB cards will leave room for two more later if you need more memory. Hardware Unboxed suggests you generally get more payback for game playing by putting money into the video card.

Pro Tools - as in the music software?  I don't see why not.  I bought two of these to bring my server machine X570 motherboard to 128GB.  They're not the fastest on the block anymore, but mine have worked flawlessly for 5+ years.
