The board has decent I/O, is easy to work with and install. The bios GUI is well thought out. Integrated WIFI 7 chipset is extremely fast and stable.
The Asrock B650M Pro RS beats a lot of high-end Gigabyte and MSI boards when it comes to features. It is really worth considering if you are upgrading to the AM5 platform, I was a bit hesitant since I haven't bought any Asrock products for over 15 years now, but I didn't regret buying this board and their bios seem equivalent to many big brands and doesn't miss out in overclocking features.
AM5 Socket 3x NVME slots PCI-E 5.0 Nice design.
- Build Quality - AMD EXPO worked like a charm I have no problems keeping my RAM at 6000 Mhz - Lots of upgrade options. This board is definitely built to be around in 3+ years. MSI really put a lot of thought into it. - 10 GB NIC. Most of the other boards in this price point still come with a 2.5 GB NIC. - A lot of USB Ports on the rear IO for functionality
-Pre-installed IO shield -Small/Compact -Fast wireless Wifi
It was very easy to setup, the BIOS comes with an easy mode to toggle, has a nice color and sleek design to it.
This is pretty much as good as it gets. Yes, there are teething issues with WRX90 because it's such a new platform, but once you get past those, the board has been rock solid.
Pcie 4.0. Bluetooth and WiFi.
Easy to install Convenient port placement USB-C support on front and rear I/O
No issues what so ever. Really enjoyed the way this board configures the front io, fan headers, TWO usb headers, and the THREE m.2 slots. Seriously easy to build with and had no isses.
Good amount of m.2 slots for a gaming motherboard, everything was easy to install on it and it was quite resistant to how much pressure I applied to it while installing the GPU. Nice look as well
Toolless design for m.2 slots and reinforced pcie slots are a huge plus in my book. Paired with a Ryzen 7700x and 4070 ti super.
Large heatsinks. Heatsink cover for both NVMe drives. Easy tool free install of NVMe drives Large number of USB ports. 1 type C on back plus 1 type C internal. Supports 9800x3D post without bios update (as should all B850 boards) Stable with ram in normal or Expo timings, 32 GB of G.Skill Flare 6000 CL 32. Stable with benchmarks run so far. At first it did not post. But this was quickly fixed with a simple cmos clear via on board jumper.
this is a beautiful board in every regard and has all of the things that i personally need to make a hot rod computer when paired with my ryzen 7 9700
1) 10g nice on board 2) optional IPMI which I am planning to get. 3) Asus cpu enhancement all 24 cores fully under-load at 4.8GHz/ single core 5.2 boot stock out of the box 4) 1TB or Rdimm supported 5) lots of pcie slots for expansion
Fast, reliable
1. Decent features for the price 2. I have not had any issues undervolting 3. Clean layout with no annoying VRM fan 4. Just a good looking plain board 5. Good compatibility with CPU coolers 6. Was easy to set up EXPO on ram kit
Honestly, I purchased this product due to its small form factor and numerous features. Its a bit overkill for what I need but its great. I was worried the HIVE may not have been a good idea but its a niche novelty. The light features during boot allows for quicker troubleshooting(assuming you can remember what each color means without looking it up each time LOL) and ports allow quick input for external usb-based storage and peripherals.
- Price - Its X870 with pci-e 5.0 - Its has wifi - BIOS falshback - Matches my ASUS PRIME 5070 ti.
