Lots of high bandwidth USB ports, 3 PCIE slots (if you need them) and good UEFI updates as the AGESA gets updated.
- Solid build quality. Heatsink for M.2 drives feels especially nice. - Looks great. - Tons of ports and support. - Simple and clean BIOS. - Wi-Fi antenna as a clip instead of screws is awesome.
VRM Memory Capacity PCIE 5 Easy to install
Easy to work with, not too crammed. Has all the features I need. It does what it says it will do. Go to Gigabyte's site for ALL the details - you won't be disappointed. . Had virtually no issues. Made use of the 3 M.2 slots, which are well placed and easy to access. I added some better heatsinks though. This is not a gaming rig so with the HDMI and Display port outputs built in, it was more than enough for my 2 monitor set up. I was sable to update the bios, recommended, on a bare mobo with Q Flash - nice feature, but . . .
This is a great combination for my needs. Went to this CPU on a recommendation from my computer tech son. Upgraded the CPU cooling from the stock unit and moved up to 32GB memory then went with a GTX 1660ti. I do light gaming, bookkeeping,, Lightroom and Photoshop work. This is a excellent combo. Great service by the way. Thanks
Update bios and started, no issues at all
I used this in a recent build for my son-in-law. He'll be using it mainly for gaming. I paired it with an AMD 9600x CPU
Looks Performance Wifi 7
"This Review is for the ASRock review rebate program." -The Motherboard comes with built in WiFi -It has most of the x570 features without the cost -The motherboard comes with post status checker
AM5 Support with next-gen Ryzen CPUs rock-solid stability so far. PCIe Gen 5 for both GPU and NVMe storage, future-proofing baked in. Robust VRM design that runs cool even under load. Perfect for overclocking or pushing X3D chips. DDR5 support with high-speed kits running flawlessly. Connectivity: USB4, Wi-Fi 7, and plenty of fast rear I/O options. No compromises here. Q-Flash Plus & Clear CMOS buttons a lifesaver for enthusiasts.
- Straight forward build - Easy to work with and install components - Built I/O faceplate is a plus
It is a really good overclocking and undervolting motherboard
Bought this motherboard during BF sales, one of the nice feature is the flashback button on the motherboard, however, in my case, I did not need to do a flashback since this is a newer stock motherboard where the BIOS has been updated for AMD 5000 series CPU. I installed a AMD 5 5600x chip. The motherboard is clearly labeled for the case fans and case I/O cables.
Improved network speed and wifi. Better slot placement than the PRO 650m A board. The pci slot for expansion cards is full length so I can use a 10G network card and it has an extra PCI-E 8 pin connector for power for PCIE 5 SSD.

This is a new design of the B650 board similar look at MSI Z790A MAX WIFi, a great MB., I used it to pair with the newAMD9600x perfect! Has all the function/ efficiency i need . Good Price too, Fall into a nice budget build.,
Motherboards have evolved into art. The M2 heatsinks work well. Boots quick, no issues yet.
I have installed four of these lately. They moved the M.2 nvme slot to the the top of the board...!!! Installed os with no issues, Supported the ryzen 5 5600G, 7-5700G, 5-3600, 5-3400g so far I like the bios...
Paired with 7800x3d and rtx 4090. Can enable the PBO and curve optimizer of -30 with the latest bios update and can reach all core 5.05GHZ in CPU-Z stress test. Can overclock my ddr5 memory to 6400c30. Boot time is very fast compared with other AM5 boards which I believe is partially due to the board only have two dimm slots instead of 4, this also makes overclocking the memory easier. Has two m2 slots which is nice to have in this price range. One m2 wifi card with holes in the protective shield which is also nice to have if I want to add wifif in the future. Also very impressed with the speed the bios updates are released.
Looks. Performance. Wifi7
