Was running the stock AMD AM4 cooler and it was hovering at 50 degrees C outside of games or any load. Running up to 90 inside games. So far this has shaved 20 degrees off for 30/50 degrees. Thoroughly impressed, didn't believe the stock cooler could be that bad and this so good. This will definitely save wear and tear on your CPU.
Quiet. Fantastic cooling-equal to liquid cooling with the proper case. High quality material all around. I found it easy to install.
These are some of the best low noise coolers i have used in over 30 years. Mounted on a Z390 motherboard with a i9-9900KS running at a stock 5.03 GHz across all 8 Cores and 16 Threads, this cooler has kept the system at 39 to 54 degrees Fahrenheit (NOT Celsius) and it is so quite that i often had to look at the side of the case to see if the lights on the cooler were on, that's how quite it is, and with the right thermal compound this keeps this 128GB of RAM, 156GB SSD/HDD storage with a nice RX GPU running so nice and cool. Now as for 12th Gen LGA1700 systems, i am going to be testing a i9-12900KS soon and as these 12th Gen Alder Lake chips are notorious for running hot as is but i am up to the task to see if a air cooler can keep the 12th Gen CPU's cool as I really don't want to do liquid cooling. There is a physical RGB switch included so if your motherboard doesn't support RGB you should still be all set This cooler has standoffs for both AM3 & AM4 as well as almost every possible Intel socket in the past 15 years, LGA 2011, LGA 2011v3, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA2066, LGA1151 and just about every other, just remember you need to make sure you get the correct version to fit a LGA1700
Hands down this is the best air cooler on the market. It is compatible with multiple socket types and comes with easy to follow instructions. Easily beats an AIO liquid cooling and rivals custom loops.
Keeps temps low very quiet looks very good
This is as close to passive cooling as you can get. Of course my case is spacious and open and has brilliant airflow. that being said.... the fans run, but are pretty much silent. When I am playing full screen with max out everything, the fans are perceptible, but you have to turn off everything in the room to even hear them then. Good case, good cpu cooler and a 3090 all pretty much silent. Lovin it.
-Can't believe how quiet it is -Keeps my oc'd i5 6600k very cool -not too nearly as big as other air heatsinks
Amazing instructions Easy to install They give thermal paste Very descriptive Helpful youtube videos
put this on a i5-12400F. added a 2nd Deepcool fan on the backside of the heatsink. CPU runs cool at 30c with both fans on silent. I have built a good number of PC's over the last 20 years and this heatsink/fan unit was one of the easiest to install. I used the thermal paste that was already on the heatsink as it was only a thin layer. You dont have the screw the fans to the heatsink which is convenient. The wire brackets it comes work perfectly fine for holding the fans in place as the Deepcool 120 mm fans have rubber feet where the screw holes are at to dampen the vibration.
- Simple instructions - CPU brackets were easy to configure for my socket size - Love the all black. No RGB, I love it. - Included thermal paste was a plus, now I have extra thermal paste!
Easy to install and WORKS really, really well.
Great Cooling Great Fit Great Price Comes with everything you need including new heat transfer compound works with the backer plate that comes with my amd motherboard
perfect profile for my server case easy install no funny angles to install good sound great wire shroud
FX-8150 runs 50 F cooler under 95% CPU utilization (110 instead of 160).
Does well cooling
Had to switch front fans to clear ram, but my cpu runs 20 degrees cooler.
Quiet looks good very easy rebate
I recently put a new computer system together with Asus X99A along with a 5820K being cooled with Cooler Master Seidon 120V. My temperatures were always somewhat high and OCing was diffuclt as stability was impacted. Yes I did re-apply the artic silver after cleaning the CPU and cooler multiple times trying to get good temps. After reading some reviews on here and other sites I decided to replace the Cool Master with the Noctua NH-U14S. I was able to overclock with ease at 4.5GHz with temperatures in the mid 70s on all cores while performing stress tests. I ran 3D Mark Firestrike and my temps never went above 55. I highly recommend this coooler
Easy install in my Antec 900 case and Gigabyte 990FX AMD mobo. Running an AMD 1090T (6-core) with stock fan.
Aesthetically pleasing, completely silent
