In CPU Air Coolers

Currently building 2 x AMD EPYC 7452 Server with a 4U Server cases. Installed 120mm Noctua Quiet fan for inlet of air and 2 x 80mm quiet fans in rear of case. Then this NH-U9 with 2 x 90mm fans (included for CPU cooler) Ran server for 2 hours stress test. Almost 100% CPU utilization and temperature only 66 Celsius. Of course, with the case lid attached! Comes with all you need to install! Also, NT-H1 Thermal Paste.

Compact size for mid sized & mini towers. Install time under 30 minutes as long as rear of MB can be accessed from opposite side panel. Pre-applied paste, plus an extra tube of Noctua NT-H1 included (although I stuck with my longtime Arctic Silver 5) Everything needed for install is in box. Temps on my FX-8370 are 6C lower (idle), 12C (100% load) than the bulky & loud AMD cooler with lighting, of which my MB didn't have the plug for (thank goodness!). Carefully packaged by Noctua, works with many AMD & Intel systems. For it's small size, fans are quiet (added another NF-A9), system CPU fan set on Turbo Mode. Noctua's attention to detail, one cannot ask for more, even if doesn't like the color scheme (see Cons). Lastly, one will not get this type of cooling from any other CPU cooler of this size. The Noctua NH-DL 92mm SSO2 Low-profile Premium CPU Cooler is the cream of the crop in it's class.

Beautiful, easy to install cooler that is keeping my ryzen 5900X cool. Wasn't sure it could handle my cpu, but it does. I don't highly overclock, but I can have long gaming sessions with absolutely no overheating. Glad since I didn't want to deal with liquid coolers any longer.

I just built a mini-ITX gaming system in a tiny case and had to use a low profile fan. This HSF was one of the only units available. Installed easily enough and fired system up not sure what to expect. So far it has worked great and is quiet as can be. Cant even tell its running.

Quiet and cools a 65W ryzen just fine. Was a "gift" as part of a combo purchase.

More room at same cooling Temps as most coolers

Needed a quiet heatsink to get the job done for an old xeon 3110 (socket 775) in a 1u that I was able to savage from work (free server yay) There is about 1-2 cm clearance between the top of the heatsink and the lid of the case. Just enough breathing room if you ask me.
