AMDs final word for AM4 retains overall gaming parity with Intels best, much newer and more expensive 12900KS, and does it without any need for a new MB, extremely expensive RAM format, or unusually challenging system cooling solutions. I actually expect it will prove superior in the games I play over timemore on that later. Just updated my BIOS and dropped in, booted without issue and everythings running smoothly, no fuss. If youre gaming already on an AM4 MB in particular and are interested in stretching its gaming performance for as many years as you can, check and see if theres a BIOS update allowing this chip to drop in. This will be a very strong gaming chip for many years.

Way more than I need

Runs everything on roblox Minecraft at max graphics on hypixel. A dream even with a lot of people in skyblock Repo is fantastic Jurassic world evolution at medium is good u notice a tiny bit of lag but it's not horribly noticeable anything higher is runnable but you'll notice it

-Not sure if these just aren't reporting percent usage correctly, but I haven't seen it go above 20% yet at max graphics in 1440p. Unbelievable -Paired with an 850W platinum PSU, so far no issues with power delivery -(I know this is also because of cooler and mobo) It's much cooler than 8700k. Never seen it hit 80 deg C yet, even running BF 2042 and Halo Infinite

-Fastest gaming processor to date. -Highest clock-speed eight core processor available. -Great single threaded and multi-threaded performance. -Pricing is not terrible taking in consideration of the range of the 9900K being above i7-series but at the start of the i9-series. -Best priced i9 overall and one of the best performing i9-series CPUs for the money. - Fast boiii - Runs fairly cool when you set the voltages in the bios - 24 threads with hyper-threading is enough for most applications and games, haven't even seen total usage go higher than 50% in anything other than a benchmark/stress test

- works out of the box packaged fairly -Handle's game I play fine at 1440p for the price I paid
