I was using a 3.2Ghz i5 CPU before. This new i7-7700K blows that one away in performance; with 4 cores and 2 threads per core. It's also unlocked, so I ran it up to 5Ghz and it ran fine, just made the fans run fast most of the time so I slowed it back down to 4.7Ghz. Now they only speed up for 5-10 seconds as the processor peaks. Great Value to give an older computer new life.

Core voltage: 1.35 (offset and adaptive) Overclock (per core): First two cores: 5.2GHZ Rest of the 6 cores: 4.9GHZ I hit temps below 70C on average under load with Aida64. Usually around 69C ;). Super fast, Geekbench score: 6,700 single core. 40,300 multi core. Gets around 2,100 on cinebench CPU benchmark. Using it with MSI MEG z390 Godlike MoBo. Am a total noob about overclocking but was able to get good numbers!
