I tested this with the following: Adding a second monitor. The second monitor is a Wacom Cintiq 16 tablet, which also worked well with the pen through this device. It worked great with standard USB devices such as a headset and mouse. It also works well to charge my Macbook with, so I am able to disconnect everything with just a single plug.

- Appears to be very compatible (NIC does not work with Microsoft Surface Go Notebook - Go is compatibility challenged) - Very high build quality - Very nice design (good port count/variety)

- Has every port I need, including USB-A and USB-C ports. - Ports are spaced out nicely so that everything fits. (I have another adapter that packs them too closely, so I can't use the USB-A and HDMI ports next to each other.) - It's no bigger than it needs to be, given all the ports. It opts to arrange ports on both sides, rather than put them all on one side and increase the size.

USB C Port speed seems good, I was only able to test with a M.2 USB C SSD enclosure I had laying around. Got read speeds up to 880 Megabytes per second (around 7000 Megabits per second)

I use this to extend out Yubikeys... but the couple times I've used the usb 3+ it's transferred data quickly... had to put double sided tape so it doesn't move but works as intended. a little annoyed it's on sale now though.. heh
