I purchased this printer because I couldn't get my old HP 1300 to work well with Windows 7. Advertising for the Laser Jet Pro 400 said it would work well with Windows 7, Vista, and XP. Received the printer late this afternoon and within a few hours had it set up and networked with our home network that consists of Vista and XP operating systems as well as Windows 7. I like the larger tray capacity. I also appreciate the easy access to various areas of the printer should there be any problems later...like paper jams which are my nemesis. I am one happy lady this evening. I am also very happy that the price for the 400 was quite reasonable. I paid $350 for the HP 1300 9 years ago. So $249 was a real bargain for the 400. Did I mention that Newegg has their act together when it comes to shipping? Printer arrived here in 36 hours after ordering.
