Easy to install, the Realtek RTL 2185 drivers worked for me as someone stated above.
This is the real deal. It comes with full and half height brackets.
Plugged into older Alienware R7 that only had gigabit on-board, just worked and at full speed.
- Just plug and play in Windows 11 Pro. - I received 2 Card TX401, and both work like a charm. - Big upgrade on my local network, on a 10 G Switch. - Again, rock solid, good heat sink size, should be reliable for years... - It's Rj-45 , so no need to upgrade for fiber... for now. - Never had a problem with TP-Link to be honest.
Inexpensive and works good once I figured out the drivers (see other thoughts).
- Works out of the box with Ubuntu Linux without any additional work needed. (They use the built-in Aquantia driver) - I have two Ubuntu boxes directly attached using these NICs, and am getting 10gig connectivity.
I purchased this to upgrade my laptop from a WiFi 6 (11ax) card to a WiFi 7 (11be) card. Since it's an 11th gen Intel, swapping it out was a breeze and found the 6GHz AP without issues.
Needed to replace the onboard network adapter. This adapter was easy to install and setup. Working great and was a great value.

I was a bit concerned about this being counterfeit given the low priced. I used speedtest.net and verified the MAC address was that belonging to Intel. Windows 7 Ultimate automatically detected as such and installed intermittent generic drivers until it was connected to Windows update, where the proper drivers were finally installed. Painless and seems to be the real McCoy.
Lower cost than others of its kind. It's significantly smaller than I was expecting, and the heat sink covers every bit of usable space for exceptional cooling.
Works as said and gets the speeds I need!
- Highly compatible - Stable - Good packaging - Standard and low profile mounting brackets - Lifetime warranty
-Easy to install with the included drivers -Good PCB build quality
Works with both PFSense and Proxmox without any special configurations.
Doesn't require any weird pro-grade server backplanes to connect, just a regular PCI Express slot If drivers are needed, they can be downloaded as a bundle beforehand and installed offline SFP+ ports accept a few varieties of transceiver, so you don't even need to replace your ethernet wiring to use this
Provides the service you expect from it. Was inexpensive
