-First impression, solid built unit, looks professional, excellent price -One thing worth mentioning that is not in the description and was/is a major concern with any switch I purchase, the back-plane is 16Gbits (supporting all 8 ports at full duplex) -File transfers sustained 95MB-105MB/sec (760Mbits-840Mbits/sec) with up to 4 PC's (all I had to test with) -File transfer did not change when using 2 or 4 PC's (Read or Write) -Streaming Netflix on Xbox while doing file transfer with 4 PC's had no adverse effects on video, HD was brilliant! -Slight warmth after a day of burn-in testing, after several days temps remained consistent, could be placed with low ventilation with no issues -Indicator lights on front let you know if you are connected at 100Mbit or 1000Mbit, which is nice to know in case you have a faulty cable
