This thing is TINY! It does not get in the way when plugged in to the front ports on a computer or the back. No clearance worries at all. Great for laptops lacking a working wifi adapter. It is inexpensive. No great financial outlay is required to provide a computer with a wi-fi link. It has a more muted green/blue led for link status. I HATE equipment whose actinic blue LEDs will light up a dark room while I'm trying to sleep.
