Getting this CPU for gaming has turned on a switch. Tarkov can push 150-200fps, Rust 160fps, Apex 300. If you play competitively, on a 240hz+ monitor, this will serve you greatly.

High in performance with 8 cores and clock speeds starting at 3.7 All this for under 150 dollars is a steal

Low wattage draw - stays around 9-13 watts unloaded. The included Stealth cooler fan only runs a quiet 1,000-1,600 RPM in my Silverstone shelf case. The six cores run 31C at idle and so far, have never reached above 43C in moderate use. Cold boot to fully loaded using this processor, in my setup, is never more than 17 seconds. I could have easily used my old monstrous OCZ cooler from an AM2/3 build years back but the CPU runs so cool with the stock cooler there was no need. Very capable business/home use processor. Decent pricing. A.I. ready.

Insane speed and performance, easily %30 faster in multithreaded workloads over my 3700X

I ordered this CPU from Newegg, and the third-party seller contacted me early on to let me know it wouldnt arrive in the original factory packaging (no AMD box or paperwork). The order arrived within the timeframe promised, included tracking, and was securely packaged and well-protected. After a quick BIOS update, the CPU has been running flawlessly since installation.

at ~$160, this is a great budget CPU. more computing power than i3 processors, enough cores for multicore software and perfect for gaming as a lot of games are still single threaded. Uses very little power compared to its bigger brothers. Runs very cool. Idles at 31 C with a Deepcool AK400 Heatsink/Fan cooler with push and pull fans on both sides of the heatsink.

Coming from an i7 3820, this thing is a monster! My PC is now has fast has my phone, lol. Multitasking is nothing. Alt-tabbing out of a game into Discord, browser, Netflix, not an issue. Yes, Im still on one monitor/TV. >.<
