I put this CPU into an ASUS PRO WS W790E-SAGE (which replaced my ASUS AMD AM4 PRO WS X570-ACE ATX) workstation motherboard and it is blazing fast already with 16 cores, at the bottom-of-the-line: I can't imagine what the W7-3445 (20 cores), W7-3455 (24 cores), W7-3465 (28 cores), W9-3475 (36 cores) or W9-3495 (56 cores) can do. You need a 3 thousand series (ie Wx-3xxx) Xeon CPU to take advantage of many thing this motherboard offers, e.g. the three M.2 slots for example, and other things that the Asus Pro W790E-SAGE motherboard offers. This CPU fills that bill, allowing the buyer to take full advantage of the Asus W790E motherboard features.
Great speed!

This Xeon E-2324G processor paired with a Supermicro MBD-X12STL-IF-O motherboard makes for a speedy little server. I'm using Xigmanas and run virtual machines of Win11 Pro and Ubuntu. But mostly this processor is used as a file server and its more than fast enough, with its performance barely dented by normal usage.
Great little server CPU. Not costs only a tiny bit more than a 9600x but includes some nice enterprise-level features like transparent memory encryption. Makes for a great home lab CPU.
